Chickenhawk Scratchings

I had one day off from the training conference I recently attended in FL, and was trying to decide what to do.  It wasn't enough time to really enjoy one of the parks, but there are still a lot of things in Orlando that one can do in a few hours. 

I finally decided that I was going to start by going through Downtown Disney.  Then I heard the thunder.

I hadn't noticed that a rain was falling, and when I looked out it was falling pretty darn fast.  The winds started picking up.... then they REALLY started howling.  The rain was not falling anymore - it was HURTLING towards the ground.

Lightning began flashing, and peel upon peel of thunder coming one after the other, and sometimes on top of each other. The walls of my hotel room shook.  I started trying to remember how close Orlando was to the beach, and to hurricanes. 

Of course, like a fool, I went out onto the covered porch and shot a video with my cellphone!  One of the crashes of thunder was so big that it kills the speakers of the phone when played back.  It was a great storm to watch - from the sidelines!

And that was my day off, in sunny Florida.  (Yes, Floridians, I know it's not like that ALL the time) :-)

I just returned from Orlando, FL, where I attended my latest Craig Proctor Superconference. This marks my sixth Superconference, and it has once again blown my mind!  I was given the opportunity to join the Platinum group, which is the highest level of agents in the CP system.  It was truly a blessing for my business - I was able to network with several agents who are making more than one million dollars PER YEAR in gross commission income.

I am working now to implement some of the ideas that I learned at the conference.  As always, my business will grow and change... it's always fun to get back from these trips, because I have way too much new stuff I want to do, and only 24 hours in the day.
